Our Practice

BVT Accounting Solutions is a growing accounting practice which has been in the pipeline since 2012. The company has been operating in a home-office in the Blue Mountains and now has opened its main office in Penrith.

Victoria Thomasson is the principal and owner of BVT Accounting Solutions. Her passion in practising accounting led her to establish her accounting firm where she now applies all her knowledge, experience and drive.

Victoria has over 25 years of experience working as an accountant in various private corporate entities and public practices. To maintain her high standard of accounting competency and to keep up with emerging accounting trends in the tax field, Victoria completed further studies and courses in taxation, financial planning which included business studies and wealth management.

In spite of her busy work schedule in the last five years, she managed to complete her Master’s Degree in Commerce (Professional Accounting) in 2016 at the University of New England. She also has a Diploma in Financial Planning completed in 2014 simultaneously juggling it with her Master’s degree and work life. Previous to her education here in Australia, Victoria achieved her Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, forming a foundation for her studies in Australia.

Victoria became active in a range of private companies in the Philippines and Singapore, which she gained insight into working with people of diverse backgrounds. As her perspective became wider while working abroad, it allowed her to gain insight of the accounting trends and requirements across the globe.

Victoria is a Registered Tax Agent and holder of ASIC RG 146 qualifications.

She is also a member of the Institute of Public Accountants and an associate of the Institute of Financial Accountants.
